First off
though an important announcement, to celebrate the
30th anniversary of the album of the same name we
called last years Hawkfest -
3
Days of Quark Strangeness and Charm.
Released in
June 1977 at the height of the Punk movement Quark
went on to become a seminal album in the bands
career and is still cited by many fans as one of
their favourites, so expect a surprise or 2 in the
set list and in keeping with the theme we're naming
our three stages Quark, Strangeness and Charm
respectively. .
Add to this the
bar area "Spirits Of The Age" whilst food and other
goods available down "Damnation Alley" we hope you
get the idea and will both enjoy and embrace the
vibe we're trying to achieve.
We'd also like
to make it clear that on this occasion
TECHNICIANS OF SPACESHIP HAWKWIND
will comprise of a set featuring Hawkwind and their
crew along with some "special" guests!
