AND THE ANSWER IS -
On the left we have Rick Martinez, whilst to the right it's Clive Deamer.
There connection with Hawkwind is that they both played drums for the band on the 1984 earth ritual tour, although I must hasten to add, not together, Rick played the gigs up to and including Nottingham on the 3.3.84, with Clive taking up his position behind the kit at Folkstone on the 5th ( the 4th was a day off, presumably that's when Clive had his rehersal!).
In a further twist to this story, I've also read that originally neither was sceduled to play, the plan was for John Clark who if memory serves me correctly played on the Earth Ritual EP and was also a member of "Crusty Rockers" New Model Army.
