ACTUAL TICKET TO THE ECT RECORDING

AND WHILST WE'RE ON THIS SUBJECT, HERE ARE A FEW MEMORIES FROM ANOTHER VALUED CONTRIBUTOR TO THE SITE - MELLISA JOSEPH

Weird about ECT, as I was sent a pair of tickets for the  wrong date, then they sent 2 more and said the originals were valid, so I was able to give them to a couple of other friends (who'd gone for full dayglo paint jobs). As far as the other bands on the bill goes - I used to rememeber who they were but only Tobruk springs to mind  now...oh yeah and some crap US band called Warrior (?) after HW played. It was funny, as the 3 of the 4 stages were back to back in a ring and everybody was standing  resolutely in front of HW's to the point the organisers were actually asking for the audience over the PA to spread round the other stages...but nobody was going for it! HW were supposed to have done a third track but I gather the Warrior people wanted top slot and got it, much to our disappointment. Still, I'm glad I got over there, along with Dr. Oz and a few other people I knew. Colin ( my other half!) didn't make it for some reason, possibly put off by the "Be as weird as you dare" clause allegedly allowing you in - I wasn't that weird (usual HW attire of blue 'n' black  stripy pants & leather jacket and probably my only HW sweatshirt) - I didn't make anything like the effort of others who I went with (Tim & John with Dayglo paint; Stu with his foot high hair). Ozy (Dr Oz) looked the same as he always did, which is fairly alternative I suppose...

iF YOU WANT TO JUDGE FOR YOURSELVES JUST HOW "FAIRLY ALTERNATIVE" OZY LOOKED THEN
